Reaching its €80m target, the new fund will continue Korona Invest’s successful strategy of supporting the sustainable growth and appreciation of SMEs through organic growth, business acquisitions, and internationalization.

Our new investors include institutional investors and multiple investment companies operated by the management and co-owners of our previous target companies, as well as long-term advisors. Korona Invest was established in 2006 and is one of the most successful private equity firms of its size in Finland. In their 15 years of operation, the funds of Korona Invest have invested in 31 companies that have more than tripled in size in average. The companies have made more than 120 acquisitions and taken on more than 4,000 new employees. Recent successes include Pilke Päiväkodit, Omaeläinklinikka, Roima Intelligence, and Vaihtolavacom. The current portfolio includes shares in seven companies, including MV-Jäähdytys, O.V. Lahtinen, and Leanware.
